Personal Statement

Please don’t leave this out. Companies aren’t into just skills. This is a chance to set out your intentions, so go for it, but remember to make it A: informative, B: factual, C: quantifiable and honest. Avoid describing your personality and instead focus on achievements and what you want to do next.

You can let your personality loose in an about-me section at the end of your CV! Include hobbies here, too—it will show you who you are, and often breaks the ice!
